1. Smithfield Federal Conflict. Join the Hokies as they battle for points in the Commonwealth Clash hosted by Smithfield. Tech has won three straight games against the Cavaliers in Blacksburg, including a 74-68 victory over No. 6 UVA last season.
2. Maroon out. Tech fans are encouraged to wear maroon at Crash and purchase the official Maroon Out shirt. Proceeds will be donated to the Undergraduate Student Senate.
3. Smithfield Food Drive. All fans are invited to bring non-perishable food items for donation to The Market at Virginia Tech. Some of the most needed items include rice, peanut butter, canned meat, soup, and canned vegetables.
4. Smithfield bricks such as bacon. All Cassel fans can win a free piece of Smithfield bacon as part of the Bricks for Bacon promotion. Fans should tune in to the Smithfield Sweatpant Toss for even more giveaways. Additionally, students will receive free Smithfield Commonwealth Crushed Foam Bacon Strips in the second half.
