NFIB joins coalition letter calling for legislative action to strengthen RFA
Washington DC (February 2, 2024) – National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB)The nation's leading small business advocacy group sent a letter to the leadership of the House Small Business Committee and the House Judiciary Committee requesting legislative action to strengthen small business involvement in the federal regulatory process.
“Small businesses continue to be disproportionately impacted by federal regulation. It is time for Congress to ensure that federal agencies no longer underreport, minimize, or ignore the impact of regulations on small businesses. It's time to address the loopholes that enable this.” NFIB Government Relations Director Josh McLeod. “On behalf of small businesses across the country, NFIB urges Congress to prioritize legislation that strengthens the intent of this law. Regulatory Flexibility Act (RFA) and encourage an environment where Main Street businesses can grow and thrive. ”
