SongTools announced it has secured a $3 million funding round for the next step in the evolution of digital music marketing.
SongTools is a web platform that allows artists and labels to grow their audience on streaming platforms (like Apple Music and Spotify) by providing a one-click advertising solution. The funding propelled the New York-based startup to position itself as a major player in the devil's stable, which releases more than 120,000 new songs per day. SongTools says its aim is to make music promotion more accessible to both artists and labels.
The platform features the world's largest playlist network with over 120 million followers. We also integrate seamless one-click social media advertising campaigns for our users. This approach has proven effective, helping over 60,000 artists and his 6,000 composers expand their audience reach.
SongTools says the funding round will be used to “embark on an ambitious journey to overhaul music marketing in 2024.” The company aims to cater to both record labels and independent artists with customized advertising campaigns. The initiative was co-founded by Jimmy Mikaoui (Co-Founder: Marathon Music Group), Sat Bisla (Founder: Musexpo, A&R Worldwide), Rick Fernandez (Former GM: RCA, Geffen), and Lucas von Cranach. (Founder: OneFootball).
Danny Garcia, CEO and Co-Founder of SongTools said: “We are revolutionizing the field by demystifying marketing and helping artists find their early fans at a time when the market is saturated with more artists but fewer tools for their growth.” “We aim to provide these tools to everyone who makes music. Creativity should be shared, and we make that process simple.”
Moving forward, SongTools says it is poised to transform the music marketing landscape, delivering innovative solutions that help bridge the gap between artistic creativity and commercial success. Details regarding the designation of the lead investor and funding round were not disclosed. SongTools.io's last funding round was a pre-seed round in 2021. Investors in that pre-seed round include Verena Pausder, Inclusive Ventures Lab, Thomas Vardell, Thijin Lamers, and Lucas Cranach.
