Romulus, Michigan (CBS Detroit) – Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport will launch a new program next week to help small businesses at Evans Terminal.
The Small Business Arrival Ready Program (SOAR), which begins February 13, will allow small businesses to operate specialty retail stores.
Business owners interested in participating can attend the SOAR Outreach event on February 13th. Owners have until Monday February 12th to RSVP. Click here to reserve your spot.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the event is scheduled for 9 a.m.
The Airport Authority also plans to hold a workshop on February 19th for businesses to learn about the request for proposals process. To register, visit his website at the airport after the outreach event.
Outreach events and workshops will be held at the Wayne County Community College District Ted Scott Campus, 9555 Haggerty Road, Belleville.

SOAR also provides DTW customers with more specialized We are expanding our concession program by offering retail options at Evans Terminal.”
