A new coffee shop is thriving after a young entrepreneur decides to follow his dreams.
La Vita Coffee on Market Street in Westthoughton welcomed its first customers in December.
Manager Clevis Sulce, who is only 20 years old, moved to the UK from Bologna, Italy, about eight or nine years ago and has always had a passion for food, having grown up on his grandmother Isafe's cooking.
he said: “I mainly work here in the kitchen and have previously worked as a cook.
“My grandmother used to cook a lot, so I was always going to restaurants and trying out different foods.

“I've always loved the world of hospitality, putting smiles on people's faces and hearing them say the food is really delicious.
“It's similar to the feeling you get when you cook for your mom or dad.”
He says he wants a coffee shop to be more than just a place where people come to drink coffee, he wants it to be a place where there are always special details added to the coffee and the food.
The cafe has undergone a major transformation with a lot of effort put into the design and appearance of the store.
Krevis added: “This place used to be a shoe store, but it was completely demolished.
“We spent a lot of time on the design to give our customers a different kind of place than a regular coffee shop.
“It’s all about the experience and I enjoy making coffee and entertaining people.
“We want our customers to come and have a chat over a cup of coffee, as if they were at home, with a good atmosphere and a little music.”
Krevis said he also tries to help people he can and even recently helped a homeless person who didn't have enough money.
He added: “The most enjoyable part is talking to our customers and watching them enjoy their coffee.
“We try to help everyone as much as we can.”
Krevis has worked at many area restaurants, including Nabucco Bar and Restaurant in Westoughton and Cavour in Farnworth.
He also has previous management experience.
He added, “I know a lot of people in the area, and customers will recognize me when they come into the store.”
The cafe offers an extensive menu including breakfast, Italian pasta dishes, burgers and sandwiches.
We also have vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options, and can accommodate other dietary or allergy requests.
Mr Krevis added: “We give our customers what they need.
“In the future, I'm thinking of getting a liquor license and turning it into a restaurant.
“But it's simple and we'll always be a coffee shop.”
