CHARLOTTE — One person is recovering in the hospital after being shot at the 5 Fast Mart in west Charlotte Friday night, officials said.
Officials said the incident happened on Beatties Ford Road near La Salle Avenue just before 6:30 p.m.
Sardias said the situation wasn't too bad.
Business owners in the area are confused.

“There were about three or four shots,” said George Sardias, who works at a Boost Mobile across the street from the shooting scene.
“But lately things have gotten worse,” he told Channel 9's Jonathan Rowe. “There were two shootings in the same location in one week.”
MEDIC transported one person to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
“At the end of the day, we are fathers,” Sardias said. “We're mothers. We have families at home. We just want to go home.”
On February 8th, there was an officer-involved shooting at First Mart store #5.

Police said Timothy Moore, 33, was involved in drug activity.
As officers tried to intervene, Moore pulled out a handgun.
Then they shot him in the shoulder. Police said his injuries were not life-threatening. He was then charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, resisting, delaying, obstructing and carrying a concealed weapon.
The shooting occurred Friday afternoon on Catalina Avenue in north Charlotte.
According to police, there was an altercation that resulted in the death of a man in his 30s.

Police have not released additional information about what led up to Friday night's shooting or the identities of those involved.
