JAMESTOWN, N.C. — Furnitureland South, a top 100 retailer, announced that Bobby Gaddy will become director of e-commerce. He took office in October.
Gaddy's responsibilities in his new role at the Jamestown, N.C.-based retailer include overseeing Furnitureland South's digital experience. This includes playing a pivotal role in managing the digital ecosystem, ensuring its vitality and optimization, and driving digital growth. Additionally, they are responsible for building connections between brands and digital audiences.
As a liaison, he focuses on collaboration and knowledge sharing, and aims to foster connections between talent within Furnitureland South and its customers. His strategic vision aligns with the company's goals of improving customer experience, driving digital innovation and expanding market reach.

Prior to joining Furnitureland South, Gaddy was Digital Marketing and Marketing Communications Manager at Hayward Inds. During his tenure, he was recognized for his leadership in the successful development and implementation of comprehensive global e-commerce solutions. This initiative seamlessly integrated B2B and his D2C capabilities, significantly contributing to the company's digital growth and market presence.
Gaddy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Communications from Clemson University. Officials say his academic foundation and extensive experience in business relationship management position him as a dynamic leader in the field of e-commerce.
