A lifestyle coach has revealed how to 'drink water right' to lose weight without having to run to the toilet multiple times.
Karla, known as @improvingwkarla, has over 100,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares advice on habit building and weight loss.
The content creator recently went viral after sharing how drinking water can be “the most beneficial for your weight loss journey.”
“If you don't know how to start your weight loss journey, I'll give you a habit: 64 ounces of water every day,” she began.
“For me, this means I need two,” she said, drumming her fingers on her stainless steel water bottle.
Carla explained that you shouldn't gulp down water. Otherwise, you'll just end up having to go to the bathroom “trillion times a day.”
“We actually want to be intentional with our weight loss journey and intentional with what we put in our bodies,” she said.
“So, I'm going to show you how to actually drink water intentionally so your body can function as effectively as possible while losing weight.”
Kara poured filtered water from a pitcher into a bottle and added “a pinch of salt.”
“But only a little,” she warned. “This shouldn't be salty at all. This will actually put all the electrolytes back into the water. These are essential components of our lives and make you more beautiful.”
If you want to “get fancy,” you can add lemon or lime slices, she added.
“This is just one of the ways I express myself,” she explained. “Since I started my journey of healthy habits, my life has changed for the better.
“Doing this little routine throughout the day or right after I wake up in the morning is how I keep myself healthy and happy.”
