DDG has seen his parenting skills questioned because of the way he was photographed holding a baby.
The YouTuber-turned-rapper posted a photo to X holding his newborn son, Halo, in a seemingly unconventional way with one hand on his waist.
He also posted a photo of him holding his child in a more traditional way with the caption: [crying face emoji] we feel at home. ”
DDG received a lot of criticism online, with one person saying it was “just a little scary enough.”
Another urged him to “hold the baby properly.”
The photo also sparked a number of jokes, with one reply reading, “Brother holding baby like a basketball,” and another saying, “Brother holding baby like a stack of books.”
Others defended DDG against the criticism, with one person commenting: This isn't the first time I've seen it, and it won't be the last. ”

The photo appears to be a promotion for DDG's new song “Shoot Up Your Block,” as much of the accompanying music video consists of footage of him and his son.
Michigan native Halle Bailey welcomed Halo on January 7th.
At the time, the rapper celebrated the news on social media, writing: [baby emoji, heart emoji] Son, I've never been so in love [holding back tears emoji] Baby hello. ”
He also said that watching Bailey give birth gave him a “new respect” for women.
“I wouldn't have chosen anyone else in the world to have my child with,” he said. “We're learning. She's an amazing mom. She's crazy, she's amazing.”
The 26-year-old also admitted he couldn't stop watching his son's birth. I saw everything. Honestly, I was scared because I thought, “No, I don't really want to see it.''
“But I was like, 'Damn, but at the same time, I'm not going to have a million kids…I'm never going to see this again.'” So I went there and looked. , and that was the craziest shit I've ever seen in my life, bro.
Furthermore, he added: “I had a newfound respect for women. As a man, I felt really comfortable. I couldn't imagine pushing a baby out of a PO.”
