Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have kept their two children, Archie and Lilibet, out of the spotlight, but that hasn't stopped them from lovingly giving fans hints about being a family of four. Over the years, we've learned about their children, their nicknames, and even Meghan and Harry's parenting styles. And during the keynote panel at the 2024 SXSW conference, Duchess Meghan revealed what type of father Prince Harry is (and it 'stunned' us)!
Duchess Meghan sweetly praised Prince Harry's practical parenting skills as she spoke about the horrific cyberbullying she suffered while pregnant with her two children. While he was in the front row of the audience, she told People magazine: My husband is a very hands-on father and supporter of me and my family. I don't take that for granted. It's truly a blessing. However, many do not receive the same level of support. ”
She added: “I think it's about putting safeguards in place for us, especially women and mothers, to make sure they don't feel even more vulnerable online.”
It's all about having a good support system, and having a partner as hands-on and loving as this is truly priceless. I really love how happy other people seem when they talk about how they are raising two children well. Doesn't that alone warm your heart?
For those who don't know, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan started dating in 2016, and by April 2018, they were married in a beautiful royal ceremony. They have two children named Archie, born in May 2019, and Lilibet Diana, born in June 2021.
While talking about the memoir in a previous interview with People spare, Speaking about his parenting style, Harry said: “As a father, I have two children and am put in the position of making sure I suffocate them with love and affection. [but not to] Suffocate them to the point where they try to escape. However, as a father, I feel that I have a huge responsibility to avoid passing on the trauma and negative experiences I have experienced. That's my job, and I strive every day to be conscious of my actions and reactions to my two children. ”
