Children are still just beginning to learn about the world, so it's natural for them to be curious. But when that curiosity turns into borderline destructive behavior, it may be time for parents to step in and take control. When parents fail to discipline a child, it is not uncommon for fed-up strangers to begin disciplining the child.
When something similar happened in this story, the mother didn't react very well. OP, whose 17-year-old daughter witnessed the altercation, shared it on the Malicious Compliance subreddit. Where was the compliance? The entitled mother told the OP's mother that if her children were too bothersome she should deal with it herself, and got Pikachu's surprised face when she complied.
Children are naturally curious and will try to touch and play with objects in public places.
