On Thursday, March 7, Forty Carrot Family Center celebrated a major milestone in its Generations of Change expansion campaign. A private ribbon cutting event for campaign donors was held at the new Parenting Education and Mental Health Center located at 1350 Cattlemen Road in Sarasota. The organization is expanding its parenting education and mental health services in response to overwhelming community needs. Outreach Forty She Carrot's unique approach to her partnerships allows us to serve all families, regardless of their ability to pay. Currently, 94% of her customers receive services for free or on a tiered basis based solely on financial need. Generations of Change's expansion, including the new Cattleman Road facility, will allow for a 100% increase in mental health and a 30% increase in parenting education services over the next few years. “We are indescribably grateful for the investment and trust of our campaign donors in providing high-quality, accessible prevention, intervention, and treatment services to children and families in our community. The new Generations of Change building will measure 6,900 square feet and feature flexible capacity with six therapy rooms, a reception office, waiting area, removable walls and observation features, a virtual program room, and administrative offices. The addition of the Cattlemen campus will allow for the expansion of early education services and administrative offices within the existing building on S. Tuttle Avenue.
