Christine Quinn has happily welcomed the world into her life since her rise to stardom in Selling Sunset, but her husband Christian Richard hates the spotlight.
Unfortunately, the retired technology entrepreneur, 42, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after he allegedly threw a “glass bag” at his spouse, 35, which ended up hitting their infant son. It became a hot topic all over the world.
On Wednesday, the mogul was seen handcuffed and taken away by police officers, barefoot and wearing only a bathrobe, after the incident involving the couple's only child, Christian Georges Dumonte, 2.
After his arrest, DailyMail.com compiled everything we know about the father-of-one, who didn't even use his real name while appearing on Selling Sunset for “privacy reasons.”

He and Christine live in Crystal Hefner's former mansion.
Quinn previously revealed that she felt like a princess after buying the Hollywood Hills home previously owned by Hugh Hefner's widow Crystal.
“This was one of my first properties. My husband brought me coffee and I imagined living in this house,” she told People in 2021.
After they moved into the property together in 2019, the same year they got married, she raved that it was a dream come true.
“I got to live in the house I always wanted and got the man of my dreams,” she told the magazine. “I'm like Snow White. This is my castle!”
The 5,917-square-foot home has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
He retired at age 38 after selling his company Foodler
The technology guru co-founded the online food ordering service Foodler, which he ultimately sold to competitor GrubHub in 2017 for $51 million.
This move allowed him to comfortably retire before he turned 38.
Additionally, he was an early supporter of Bitcoin.
“The cryptography behind Bitcoin is interesting to me,” he previously said when speaking about adopting Bitcoin as a payment method to HuffPost. [The other founders and I] I have a background in software and am excited about innovation. That was my motivation. ”

Richard continued: “He is said to be worth $20 million, but his wife, who works as a real estate agent and reality star, has amassed a whopping $2 million through TV appearances and social media deals.” Told.

Richard debuted on Selling Sunset as one of Quinn's clients, but they actually met through mutual friends.
The couple were introduced through friends after she finished her first season on the reality show.

As fate would have it, the two hit it off and got married in December 2019, less than a year after they met.

Quinn and Richard welcomed their first child, named after his father, in May 2021.

In 2021, Quinn said she was “lucky to be alive” after her son's traumatic birth.
At the time, Ms Quinn detailed how her son was “seconds away from survival” and how doctors had to take her through an X-ray. However, he said that it was painful to “relive the trauma” on the Netflix show. They left tools inside her body as she was “flattened” during her surgery.
“I thank God every day for my blessing and miracle baby. Always remember that life is too short and resentment is a waste of perfect happiness. Let go of what you can and Take a chance. Give it your all and have no regrets. Life is too short to be unhappy,” she wrote on Instagram.
he doesn't like being in the spotlight
Unlike his wife, who has over 5 million followers on Instagram and is active on TikTok and Twitter, Richard is low-key when it comes to social media.
He does not have a public account and rarely makes cameo appearances on Quinn's shows.
“He's the complete opposite of me in every way, because I love to put myself out there. I love to be great. He's not interested in dressing up or looking good.” Quinn told Bustle about her man.
She continued, “He doesn't care about any of that. He just cares about his job and his travels.”
He and Quinn started their own crypto real estate business
The two are likely to team up on a brand deal soon, but they are business partners.
In April 2022, he launched RealOpen, a crypto real estate business.
The move came after she parted ways with the Oppenheim Group.
“When the intermediary stepped up, I terminated the contract. I had to make a business decision for myself, so I had to terminate the contract to transfer the contract to the intermediary. I didn't,” she told Us Weekly.
The TV personality previously discussed her business ambitions with her Selling Sunset co-star and Oppenheim Group president Jason Oppenheim.

“We had been warned that there were a lot of strange things going on in the area, so we joked, 'If guns and dogs don't scare people, we need tigers.' We decided it would be really fun.'' So we found a guy who trains tigers as pets and we got him. ”
Christine also assured fans that her tiger is “very friendly” and that she feels very at ease being 1 meter away from him.

According to Vanity Fair, Richard “participated in the Center for Talented Youth Program during middle school.”
Ultimately, he graduated from the College of New Jersey in 2000 with a 4.0 GPA.
He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science.
He was previously employed as a computer scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
