Elon Musk reacts to Xbox global product marketing manager Kelly Lombardi asking non-white men to raise their hands if they buy video games.
On March 27, Lombardi posted on X: “Raise your hand if you're not white and buy video games.”
She added, “I don't mean to hate (white men). It's just another day in the gaming industry where minorities have to fight to prove themselves.”

The post was screencapped by YouTuber The Quartering and read, “Introducing the Global Head of Xbox Marketing.”
Later, Ashley St. Clair also shared this, writing, “This is a huge problem and pervasive throughout the gaming industry.”

Musk responded to Ashley St. Clair's post, saying, “It should not be tolerated for any company in the gaming industry to be racist and sexist against 'white men.'” .

This isn't the first time Musk has commented on events in the video game industry over the past month. He previously commented on video game consultancy Sweet Baby Inc., calling the organization “a scourge on the gaming industry.”
Musk shared his thoughts after Sweet Baby Inc. employee Chris Kindred tried to shame Capcom into canceling YouTuber Asmongold from the Dragon's Dogma II game. Asmongold was announced as his one of the many official pawns that players can purchase in-game.
As reported by PandasAndVidya, Kindred responded to the announcement, writing, “It's strange that some of them aren't actively participating in the harassment campaign.”

Musk responded to Chung's post, writing, “Sweet Baby Inc is a bad evil to the gaming industry. All they do is make games bad and try to get people to cancel them. We can’t afford to go bankrupt anytime soon!”
