Daddy Drama
Brittany isn't the only one facing backlash.
Jax recently came under scrutiny for his bar in Studio City, California, after allegations surfaced that he and his estranged wife were “changing diapers at the bar.”
The Traitor star, with Brittany's help, opened a sports bar called Jax Studio City in Los Angeles in October.
In the months and weeks that followed, customers filed numerous complaints with the Department of Public Health.
Documents obtained exclusively by The US Sun reveal that the most recent complaint was dated April 16th.
According to the complaint, “Jax Taylor, owner of Jax Studio City” was “observed changing a baby's diaper on the roof of a bar that serves food and beverages.”
Following the complaint, an investigation was launched.
“The complaint was not taken into consideration. No one on the premises was changing diapers in the bar at the time of inspection,” health inspectors wrote in their report.
“We have discussed with the owner that we will prohibit employees or customers from changing babies' diapers at the bar counter or tables.
“It's up to the owners to enforce this. The owners have been understanding.”
The investigation has concluded and no further action has been taken against the Bar Association.
A video released just days before the raid, showing Jax and Brittany changing their infant son's diaper at a bar, was shared on social media by “The Valley” star Jasmine Goode.
She appears to have posted the video without any ill will towards the couple.
“Growing up,” her cheeky caption read.
Despite the post being light-hearted, fans were outraged.
Critics slammed the couple's behavior as unhygienic.
“Apparently, according to the Valley staff, 'being an adult' means changing a kid's diaper in the middle of a restaurant while yelling at each other,” one hater wrote.
Another complained: “Someone please tell me these two 'parents' are not changing a 3 year old's dirty diaper at the bar of a restaurant that serves food, in full view of the public and paying customers. Not at all.”
Beer Cheese Rebound
Prior to the diaper complaint, another customer had complained about the homemade beer cheese served at the establishment.
Jax's Studio City serves Mamaw's beer cheese, made famous during the run of Vanderpump Rules, along with warm pretzels, according to the menu.
A new investigation was launched in December 2023 after the plaintiffs alleged the cheese was “made off-site.”
The complainant claimed that “there weren't even any allergy-friendly recipes in the kitchen.”
During the investigation, health inspectors found that “one container of beer cheese was stored in the walk-in refrigerator” and that “invoices had been issued for the cheese spread.”
“At the time of the investigation, the manager stated that the beer cheese was made on-site,” officials said during the investigation.
“The store manager did not have a recipe card for the beer cheese but advised the environmental health specialist that the beer cheese was made with sharp cheddar cheese spread purchased through Amazon or Angie's Wholesale.”
“According to the manager, the chef is in charge of making the beer cheese and prepares the beer cheese by adding a dry spice mix and beer to the cheese spread,” the inspector continued.
The allegations were unfounded and the investigation was closed.
