Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have reportedly split after facing communication problems and disagreements over finances and parenting.

A source familiar with the situation revealed that Affleck and Jennifer Lopez mutually decided to separate in order to work through their differences.
“They are taking some time to think about whether this relationship is right for each other,” a source said of the pair, who are set to marry in 2022, nearly two decades after calling off their first engagement.
“He's been checked,” the source added, noting that Lopez and Affleck are “on completely different pages, for the most part. Married life is over.”
According to the source, the main issue between the couple is that they are unable to share their differences effectively, which has led to “serious arguments”.
“Over time, Jennifer and Ben found it increasingly difficult to communicate effectively,” they say, “and small misunderstandings escalated into major arguments.”
Additionally, the insider said financial and childcare issues are “exacerbating” their problems.
It's worth noting that Affleck has three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while Lopez has twins Emme and 16-year-old Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
