Jaipur-based merchant banker and stockbrokerage Horani Consultants said it has raised INR 1.84 billion for its INR 4,000 crore fund for small and medium-sized enterprises, which it launched in April this year.
The fund also has a greenshoe option to hold an additional INR 1,000 crore, according to an official statement.
“We are grateful to all the investors for their trust in investing Rs 1,840 crore in just a month since the fund was launched. We remain committed to our promise of supporting MSMEs and facilitating their growth,” Ashok Horani, director, Horani Consultants Private Limited said.
“Through our sector-agnostic strategies, rigorous research and prudent risk management, we aim to create long-term value for our clients while fostering innovation, entrepreneurship and economic growth in India through our funds,” he added.
Venture Capital Fund (VCF), Holani Venture Capital Fund Category I AIF (Alternative Investment Fund) is an Indian growth capital private equity fund managed and sponsored by Holani Capital Advisors LLP.
