RUSTON, La. (KNOE) – Louisiana Tech University has launched a new doctoral program for students looking to pursue leadership positions in engineering and technology fields.
The new program offers a Doctorate in Engineering and Technology Management (DETM) and is housed within the university’s Faculty of Engineering and Science. Graduates will be prepared to meet challenges in the ever-changing fields of technology, engineering, and management.
Topics offered in the program include technology management, strategic planning, decision analysis, etc. Courses teach students to master the principles of management, leadership, engineering, and technology relevant to their field of expertise.
Potential career paths include technology management, engineering management, continuous improvement management, senior systems engineering, project management, engineering design, operations management, university faculty, research and development leadership, innovation management and strategic planning.
The program offers flexible scheduling to accommodate the schedules of working professionals.
