Kim Kardashian has come under fire for what appears to be poor parenting after her daughter North West promoted her makeup line on TikTok.
The Hulu star's skincare brand, Skkn by Kim, recently expanded its product line to include makeup.
On Friday, 10-year-old North took to a TikTok shared by her and Kim to give fans a makeup review.
The video began with a preteen wearing a T-shirt and hair bonnet holding up makeup and saying, “Honest makeup review.”
After showing off her matte lipstick and lip liner, she revealed the pamphlet that comes with the makeup.
North then pulled out the brand's makeup palette and applied a healthy amount of black eyeshadow.

The video then sped up to show the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star adding lip liner and lipstick and swiping on eyeshadow to complete her look, giving her a star-like look.
Kim, 43, captioned the TikTok: “What my daughter is doing on my phone hahahahahahaha.”
Although the Skims founder apparently found the video humorous, many fans were less amused.
On a Reddit message board dedicated to Ms. Kardashian, a critic expressed dissatisfaction with Kim's parenting under the caption, “Kim shouldn't be letting her 10-year-old shill for her products online…”
One person raged: “They're trying to make it look like something cute and silly that kids would do, but she's literally just selling a product. It's disgusting.”
“This is also very selective. I bet the whole team is on this project. It's totally, totally gross,” another user added.
A third commenter wrote: “By making a video with Kim's unwanted PR, she's influencing a lot of 9 and 10 year olds to buy expensive skincare they don't need. He gave and is doing very well.”
“Of course Kim is going to do her job and promote her new makeup to those same 9- and 10-year-olds…”
A fourth added: “This is it. Very calculated.”
just face it
Earlier this week, Mr. Kim was accused of scrubbing and violently stimulating Mr. North's face.
The TikTok post, which featured a slideshow of North's busy but fun day, began by showing North during an intense skincare regimen.
In the first photo, North was seen lying down and pouting as she looked at the camera.
She relaxed with her new braided hairstyle wrapped in a towel and looked like she had already had a peel or just applied some cream or lotion.
A second photo showed a technician using a brush to exfoliate North's face.
The TikTok screenshot was posted on Reddit, where Kardashian fans criticized Kim for giving North a facial.
One person wrote: “I'm going to be polite because I don't want to get banned. A 10 year old doesn't need a facial.”
“Why does a 10-year-old need a facial?” she asked, before adding, “They're like 10-year-olds at Sephora. Like you, they don't need any of that.” another asked.
makeup chaos
Last year, Kim faced backlash from fans after she forced her eldest daughter to wear heavy makeup and fake nails.
The mother-daughter duo posted a collection of snapshots of themselves, their family, and friends on TikTok.
In the first photo, Kanye West's daughter snapped a photo of her friend making homemade pizza in the kitchen.
A second image showed North wearing a wild costume with her face completely covered in green paint.
Kita has false eyelashes, lip gloss, face gems, multicolored green strings and beads in her hair, and a giant silver chain around her neck.
The girl posed for a selfie alongside a friend dressed as a lion.
North posted a snapshot of her and two friends wearing oversized black hoodies, face masks and thick boots, as well as a selfie she took on her way to school.
In the photo, the preteen wore lip gloss and her eyelashes looked much longer than their natural ones.
The post also included another photo of North wearing underwhelming makeup and a bright blue wig with more facial jewelry and bright blue lipstick.
Fans were stunned by how much makeup North wore in each photo, and many criticized her parenting style and begged her to forgive her daughter for being just a “kid.”
“This is tough, come on, Kim,” someone said then.
“I'm really curious about photos like this,” the second man confessed.
