A winery in Chautauqua County near the Pennsylvania border has new ownership.
The Post-Journal and Observer analyze real estate transactions in the county, most recently looking at sales from Oct. 1-11.
During that period, Davin Holdings LLC of Trafford, Pennsylvania sold 10661 W. Lake Road in Ripley to LX Briz LLC of Dallas, Texas for $530,000. That is the address of his winery, Sparkling Ponds.
Xinni Zhang confirmed the purchase via email.
“We are temporarily closed for renovations, but we plan to reopen in February.” Zhang answered. “We want to deliver the same high quality of wine to our customers. We aim to create a relaxed, family-friendly environment where everyone connects through wine tasting. Our whole staff is changing. Please feel free to come by.”
The most expensive sale during this period was 59 E. Terrace Avenue in Lakewood, which sold for $2,295,000. The residence is described as a five-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom, 4,490-square-foot home.
Including the aforementioned transactions, there were 10 sales of $250,000 or more. The remaining top sellers are as follows:
