A father has sparked a heated debate after sharing an unusual hack for getting his 11-year-old daughter to tidy up her room.
An anonymous father from Syracuse, New York, posted a post on Reddit's Made Me Smile thread titled “A Letter from the Tooth Fairy to My Dirty Daughter.”
The thoughtful note from Fairytale Headquarters began by apologizing for the delay in getting the girl's teeth back.
Furthermore, it was revealed that two attempts to retrieve the item had already failed. Because the Tooth Fairy encountered a “tragedy” due to the unruliness of young people.
The memo read: “As you get older, the number of baby teeth decreases. Therefore, there is no doubt that each tooth is important to you.
“Having said that, I have to be frank. The condition of your room precluded a midnight performance. search. '
He continued: “The first attempt almost ended in tragedy when one of the agent's shoes got caught on something unpleasant on the floor.
“While trying to free herself, a pile of socks fell over and nearly suffocated her. All the commotion alerted the big yellow dog, so the agents had to abort the mission.
“The second attempt went even worse, with the agent tripping on entry and spraining his left dorsal wing.
“Fortunately, the big yellow dog was snoring and I didn't hear it fall.''
Dad's cheeky note He added that the events that had occurred “forced the Tooth Fairy to perform a very rare daytime retrieval” which, while successful, was “undesirable”.
“As it is the Tooth Fairy's nature to be active at night (the moonlight sustains us), the daytime (daytime) Tooth Fairy is a grumpy kind and is opposed to most work,” he continued. Ta.
“Even a task that's literally named after you. Your daytime tooth fairy is Greta, and you've decided to pay the fee in change because you did the daytime retrieval.”
The memo concludes as follows: “I hope that the next time I have a tooth extracted, this exchange will be done in a normal way.”
“We also know that our customers have options when it comes to tooth disposal, and we appreciate the opportunity to meet this need.”
Later, his father spoke to Newsweek about his motives: “While I generally believe in organization, my wife and I both recognize that we are not very organized people.”
“I try to be honest with my kids about their shortcomings and tell them not to get dirty like I did. I hope that if they develop good habits early on, it will help them later.” I am.”
He continued, “We forgot to play the Tooth Fairy and she was disappointed when she woke up in the morning.
“We had been trying to get her to clean her room for a long time, so this was an opportunity to learn a casual lesson.
“Many people have asked, and the answer is no. The notes had no lasting cleansing effect.”
The Reddit post quickly gained attention and was flooded with various comments from readers.
On the other hand, there were also people who were fans of note.
