The Bravo host says spending more quality time with her son Ben and daughter Lucy is at the heart of her New Year's resolutions.

Andy Cohen is all about bringing a new attitude to the new year.
When speaking to PEOPLE about her partnership with Walmart+ to “save your resolutions” and develop better habits in the new year, the 55-year-old Bravo personality revealed that it's something she does at home with her 20-month-old daughter Lucy Eve. He revealed how it would affect his life at home. son Benjamin Allen, 4 1/2 years old;
Cohen's own resolution is helping her start the year modeling the behaviors she wants to see in her children as they grow up.
“Kids don't have a lot of patience, but we're working on it. When a toy doesn't work, kids want to throw it. But you show it to them and say, 'Hey, this I want to say, “Stop it. Let's figure this out.'' Outside. 'It doesn't always work, but sometimes it does,' he tells People.
The father of two is thrilled to see his little ones strike out on their own. On his social media, he shares relatable parenting moments raising his precious daughter and “funny son.”
“He's so funny, which tickles me for obvious reasons,” the proud father says of his son Ben. “I love how he makes me laugh. The other day he posted a post about collecting bottle caps, and I said, 'What are we going to do with this bottle?' And he said, 'Bottle caps. I'll put it in,'' he said. I mean, literally, I thought, “Oh, you're so smart.'' ”

Ben turns five next month and they want to celebrate with a “low-key” party.
“I dropped him off at school today and he said he wanted a very low-key birthday party, so we haven't made any plans yet, but we're thinking of doing something at home. “I think that's fine,” he says with a laugh.
As for Lucy, the father of two is thrilled that his little girl is “really trying to talk.”
“She seems to have woken up in terms of consciousness. I can see that she understands a lot of what is being said around her, and I love that.”

Cohen, along with his friend Anderson Cooper, welcomed the new year on CNN and publicly resolved to spend less time on their phones, especially around their children. Cohen told People that his efforts are going well so far.
“We've gotten people around the house to help tell us when they're on the phone in front of their kids. This is definitely a big area of growth,” he says.
Many of the things Cohen hopes to improve in the new year include “spending less time on the phone, being more patient on family road trips, getting more healthy sleep and drinking less,” but his two children It ties into his life as a father.
Walmart+ will be a huge help in achieving these goals for Cohen and others as they look to take a step in the right direction as 2024 begins.

“So, I'm all for it. And the other thing I like about this campaign is that it's made me conscious of the fact that I've set these goals for myself. Like, 'These goals. What are you doing to actually achieve that?'
Cohen also takes care when making resolutions, explaining, “It's good to have determination behind your resolutions.''
“If it makes sense, you'll end up feeling more positive in the end. If you spend less time on the phone, be more patient with your kids, and take care of your body, all of those things will add up. That’s the positive encouragement that keeps me going,” he says. “And you can save time and money with Walmart+.”
