Fayetteville, Arkansas – Arkansas is making its 35th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history.
Arkansas (43-14), the No. 5 seed nationally and the top seed in the Fayetteville Region, is scheduled to host No. 2 seed Louisiana Tech (45-17), No. 3 seed Kansas State (32-24) and No. 4 seed SEMO (34-25) at Baum-Walker Stadium from May 31 through June 3. Arkansas will open the tournament against SEMO on Friday, May 31 at 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
The Razorbacks are hosting the regional tournament for the 11th time in program history and sixth in the past seven seasons, maintaining home-field advantage through the Super Regional round and hosting at Baum-Walker Stadium for the seventh time overall and fifth time since 2018. Arkansas is 33-3 (.917 winning percentage) at Baum-Walker Stadium this year, one win shy of matching the 2018 record of 34 home wins in a season.
The winner of the Fayetteville Regional will face the winner of the Charlottesville Regional in a best-of-three Super Regional tournament June 7-9 or 8-10. Top-seeded Virginia (41-15), the No. 12 seed in the nation, will host No. 2 seed Mississippi State (38-21), No. 3 seed St. John's (37-16-1) and No. 4 seed Pennsylvania (24-23) in Charlottesville, Virginia.
The Razorbacks are one of a record 11 SEC teams competing in this year's NCAA Tournament, joining Arkansas along with Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana State, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.
This year marks the first time that 11 teams from every conference have qualified for the NCAA baseball tournament. The previous SEC record was 10 teams, most recently in 2023.
