At the young age of 18, Ruksar Kazi realized that she did not fit into the 9-to-5 lifestyle. While she was making cold calls at a marketing firm and inviting clients to events in Mumbai, she decided she wanted to distance herself from her traditional forms of marketing. She studied digital marketing and delved into content creation as a product stylist and flat lay photographer.
“I have a passion for aesthetically capturing the products of my brand and worked independently to gain experience. After much trial and error, I felt like a polymath of sorts. With determination, we embarked on the journey of Our Quotient and what a roller coaster it has been!” shares Rukhsar Kazi, Founder and CEO of Our Quotient.
The ever-evolving digital marketing business has many specialties that some agencies don't understand, which is probably why agencies have a bad reputation today.
To stay relevant and customize their products, Kazi and her team study and learn about different trends and find the right ones to drive real conversions for all the brands they serve. It creates conversation.
“There is no shortage of agencies in Mumbai, but many of them open on a whim. The ever-evolving digital marketing business has many specialties that some agencies don’t understand. Yes, that's why the agencies don't understand.'It's a bad name today,' says Kazi.
She believes that her resilience and dedication are her strengths, which help her overcome challenges quickly. Her key milestone was when she built Our Quotient's first workspace and created her own social media calendar. “Within 25 days of its release, she sold over 100 copies and is still receiving requests.”
A whopping 90% of her team is made up of female employees. “The fact that women have higher EQ (emotional quotient) automatically makes them better suited for most roles. Female employees make the best teammates, the most reliable and most capable. .”
She envisions the brand becoming one of the leading digital marketing agencies in Mumbai within the next 3-5 years. Additionally, she aims to increase revenue tenfold and further grow her team.
