The farmer wants a wife Star Sarah Cranley announced her separation from Farmer Tom Boyer in a lengthy statement on Monday morning, following the reunion show aired Sunday night. In the statement, it didn't sound like the couple split on good terms, with Sarah writing, “Relationships don't always work out and people aren't always who you think they are. During and after the show has ended, I will always know that I was committed to this experience and our relationship and I am truly proud of it.”
Tom's runner-up Chrissy Smith added fuel to the fire that things had ended so badly, commenting on the post: “Sarah ❤️ Such a perfect statement! Hold your head higher and hold your spirits higher. I don't think anyone else could go through what we've gone through!”
“I could write a novel about how amazing you are and how much you deserve big, fulfilling romantic love, but you already know! I'm so proud of you for standing up for what you deserve. Nothing beats that! Bigger and much better things to come. xxx.”
“I don't talk to any of the girls.”
An unnamed woman from Farmer Tom's farm speaks Yahoo Lifestyle“Farmer Tom was rude!” she added, “We weren't at all surprised that he split with Sarah C so soon after the show ended. We knew it was coming.”
“Farmer Tom hasn't spoken to any of the women on the show, which proves Sarah C has kept the real story under wraps for so long,” the source continues. “We were all kept quiet and unable to tell our stories until the show aired, but now that it's over, Sarah C could have made a big fuss by exposing him on Instagram. Instead, she praised his friendships with the other women and left out the details of what went wrong.”

She claimed that “the producers were trying so hard to make him look attractive,” which “irritated” them.
“We were all trying to think of ways to tell his story while we were filming,” she says. “I was excited to see how we were going to tell his story.”
“It wasn't a surprise to us.”
Our insider revealed that she and the other girls were told that “farmers will be given priority for the hero edit.”
“So it wasn't a surprise to us that very little was revealed about what happened on his farm,” she added.
The first woman famously slammed the car door in Tom's face after he left the farm, with little explanation given as to why, but another source at the farm revealed that “she was infuriated by Farmer Tom's immaturity and rudeness.”
“Unpleasant for all the girls”
“There has always been talk about why he was barely in the final cut of the show, and it wasn't because he was too quiet, as people keep saying,” they added. “It was never because of that, but because he was unpleasant to all the women and made all the women chosen feel uncomfortable. I can imagine one or two women had issues, but he made everyone uncomfortable.”
The source continued: “When you watch the show you don't know what the girls have been through. I know Chrissy was really happy that he didn't choose her. He didn't handle it well at all and [Krissy] I have a lot of respect for him for not publicly denounced him.”

Another problem that contributed to the breakdown of his relationship with Sarah seems to have been Tom's lack of sacrifices to repair the relationship.
“He still has room to grow,” the source said, “and we're hoping Channel 7 picks a more suitable guy next year.”
