IRCTC believes that these tickets are more than just digital memorabilia. These celebrate the rich cultural tapestry of Lucknow and Delhi.
The utility said the digital asset initiative will be applicable only to passengers on two Tejas trains, number 82501 and 82502, which will run between Delhi and Lucknow from March 20 to April 2.
The NFT symbolizes our commitment to enriching the travel experience of our passengers, allowing them to personalize their travel memories with their own photos and enjoy special offers from carefully selected brands. The organization also revealed that the NFT is free to all ticket buyers and will be delivered to confirmed passengers via WhatsApp and SMS links.
IRCTC has been actively working on blockchain technology through digital assets. Earlier this year, it also offered NFT tickets to Ayodhya.
