Just two months after Joe Jonas' longtime apartment in Manhattan's Nolita neighborhood sold for approximately $5.3 million, the currently single pop star has reportedly added a New York City real estate property to his portfolio. He just paid $6.7 million for a home in the historic Brooklyn neighborhood, according to a trusted source and public records filed with the city.

Located in the 33-story Olympia Dumbo building, which Fortis Property Group built in collaboration with Hill West Architects and design firm Workstead, the corner unit is on the 26th floor and has three bedrooms and four bathrooms spread across 2,654 square feet of living space with blonde hardwood floors.

Other highlights include a foyer that opens to a spacious living room with views of the Manhattan Bridge. Double doors open to a kitchen outfitted with polished maple cabinetry, a stone-top dining island and top-of-the-line Gaggenau appliances; the adjacent dining area features a wet bar and Thermador wine cooler. There's also a bedroom converted into a study, a master suite with a large walk-in closet and a charming bathroom featuring dual vanities and a freestanding deep soaking tub.

For a monthly common fee of $2,833, Jonas also enjoys a wealth of amenities, including a 24-hour doorman and concierge, a private garden lounge, a club offering everything from a two-lane bowling alley to a fitness center, a bridge level with indoor and outdoor swimming pools and tennis courts, and private parking.

Byron Allen puts his side-by-side Beverly Hills homes up for sale

Byron Allen's celebrity real estate roundup

Just two years after Byron Allen simultaneously purchased two multi-million dollar homes in one of Beverly Hills' most desirable neighborhoods, the comedian-turned-media mogul has already put them back on the market. The price? Just under $40 million, $8 million more than he originally paid for the homes.

Records show the entertainment studio CEO purchased the two properties from Canadian tech mogul and former eBay president Jeff Skoll for a combined $32 million in spring 2022. This came shortly after Skoll secured more than $80 million in financing to demolish an existing home just down the street and replace it with a 24,000-square-foot megamansion valued at $150 million. Due for completion this year and expected to include a bowling alley and basement gym, the new property will add to Byron's personal real estate portfolio, which also includes luxury homes in New York, Aspen, Maui and Malibu.

As for the side-by-side homes now for sale, Allen first dropped $22.5 million for the sleek, modern mansion that sits atop a promontory, and then paid another $9.5 million for the modest, decidedly dated Tudor-style residence right next door. The two separate but adjacent parcels make up a 1.5-acre lot and offer a combined total of more than 10,000 square feet of living space.

The more expensive of the two homes was built in 1999 and features five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and 7,500 square feet of open-plan living space with beautiful views stretching from the downtown Los Angeles skyline to the Pacific Ocean. Notable amenities include a great room with a wet bar, a gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, a luxurious primary suite with double closets and bathroom, a wood-paneled study, a gym, and a wine cellar. The nearly one-acre property also includes an infinity-edge pool.

Built in the early 1950s, this relatively modest home sits on just over a half-acre and has a motor court and two-car garage at the front. Inside, it's just over 3,000 square feet with three bedrooms and the same number of bathrooms. It also boasts a loft space, accessed by a wooden ladder, and a paved backyard with a pool.

LL Cool J's Encino mansion goes on sale for $6 million

A little over six years ago, LL Cool J purchased an architecturally-style home in the affluent Royal Oaks neighborhood of Encino for $4.3 million. The Grammy Award-winning rapper, songwriter, music producer, and actor has now decided to part ways with the home he's owned with his wife Simone Smith since the spring of 2018, and is putting it on the market for just under $6 million.

Described as a “masterpiece” in the listing, this 2017-built home features four bedrooms and six bathrooms in just over 6,000 square feet of modern living space boasting vaulted ceilings and walls of glass. Separated by a gate and tall hedges, the main level of the boxy stucco structure is graced with a great room with living and dining areas that open to the gourmet kitchen, as well as a luxurious primary suite.

Other amenities include four guest bedrooms and a second living room with floor-to-ceiling Fleetwood doors that open to a resort-like backyard with a pool house, pool, spa and built-in barbecue. The property also includes a two-car garage.

In addition to the home that's for sale, LL Cool J also owns a New York home that he purchased in 1999 for $1.5 million.

'Vampire Diaries' star Paul Wesley's Topanga hideout is for sale

Five years after Paul Wesley purchased a log cabin-style home in a secluded spot in Topanga Canyon for $1.9 million, the actor (perhaps best known for his role as Stefan Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries) has put it back on the market, asking $3.6 million.

Tucked behind a gate and dense trees on a three-quarter acre lot, this wood-framed building that previously rented for $16,000 per month offers majestic views of the Santa Monica Mountains. Originally built in the early 1970s but renovated over the years, it offers four bedrooms and three bathrooms in just over 2,600 square feet of open-concept living space with rustic hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, oversized windows, and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors throughout that open to a spacious deck, perfect for outdoor lounging and entertaining.

Standout features include a sunken living room that boasts a wood-burning fireplace set into the whitewashed brick wall, and an updated kitchen that opens to the dining area. The kitchen is outfitted with an eat-in island, Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, and a breakfast nook. There's also an office space that doubles as a screening room with surround sound, and a gym with sauna. Outside, the lawn is planted with mature oaks and redwoods, complete with a cedar tub, shower, bocce court, and vegetable patch.

Sarah Silverman buys new home in Los Feliz

Emmy Award-winning actress and stand-up comedian Sarah Silverman has purchased a residential property for $2.1 million adjacent to the ultra-modern Los Feliz mansion she purchased for $3.5 million about four years ago.

Built in the late 1940s and on the market for the first time in more than 50 years, the post-and-beam building was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright associate Alfred Gilman and last sold in June 1972 for $63,500. Gilman, 53, a Los Angeles native, won the property for about $563,000 above the asking price after an apparently fierce bidding war, snapping up about half of a contiguous stretch of land in a celebrity-filled neighborhood whose neighbors include Scarlett Johansson and Kate Mara.

Silverman's new purchase, described in the listing as “in need of extensive repair or replacement due to its condition,” features three bedrooms and two bathrooms in just over 2,300 square feet of two-story living space with plenty of wood details and large windows throughout. There's also a detached two-car garage on the property.

Highlights include a living room with fireplace and two-story dining room that open directly to the large back yard and gardens. A short hallway leads to the main suite, while the lower level includes a large family room with a stone fireplace, two more bedrooms, and a full bathroom.
