On January 25, Macquarie Real Estate held its annual Performance Plus Breakfast at Innsbruck Country Club to celebrate the Deferred Rewards Program. A number of Macquarie Real Estate officials were in attendance to unveil the checks, reveal the amounts to be divided among participating agents, and hear a speech and Q&A from founder Ron Macquarie.
The main focus of his talk was to share insights on investing and building long-term wealth.
“Today we received a check for the Deferred Compensation Program. I will defer $200 of each sale to the investment. There are several options they can invest our money in. The one I chose is Berkshire Hathaway stock. The money grows for five years, and in the sixth year you get a check back for all the growth, plus a match with the company and its growth.'' Macquarie Real Estate Real Estate said vendor Kyle Bowen.
Ron McCauley's biggest influences when it comes to investing are Warren Buffett and the late Charlie Munger. He learned a lot from Buffett's simple ideas and expressed the profound impact this book had on him. Poor Charlie's Yearbook And that teaching influenced him.
“I'd like everyone in this room to think of one thing that makes you successful. In my case, I'm an observant person. I attended Berkshire Hathaway's annual meeting and read materials about the company. I've learned a lot over the years by reading “I've learned a lot over the years,'' said Ron McCauley.
Today was a day to celebrate the passion of our attendees for their work and their perseverance and ability to take a leap of faith in their investments.
One of the biggest lessons I learned from Ron McCauley was loyalty within McCauley Real Estate. Current success is a priority, as is future success. The ability to invest has allowed those with Macquarie Real Estate to build future wealth.
“If you invest directly in an IRA, you don't have to pay taxes until you retire. That's just part of what makes this company great. They give us the opportunity to not only make money, but build wealth.” It provides a great learning experience and prepares you for future retirement,” Bowen said.
