Umanski said he expressed his desire to move up to his brother-in-law, Rick Hilton, who co-founded the real estate company.

Umansky, who founded his own real estate company, The Agency, with Billy Rose and Blair Chan in September 2011, said he still considers Hilton & Hyland “a great company.”
“I don't think badly of them, so I'll never be found out saying anything bad about them,” Umansky said. “I'm Rick's brother-in-law, and unfortunately, things got worse because it affected Kyle more than anyone else, because he's family.”
