An industry insider tells Page Six Style, “She's been working on this for over a year, and it's all things that are close to her heart, things that she's passionate about.” .
According to a trademark application obtained by Page Six Style, American Riviera Orchard sells a wide range of household goods, including edible treats such as jellies, jams and spreads, as well as staple tableware such as cutlery, table linens and drinkware. Markle's representatives could not be reached for comment.
The brand's logo uses a script-like font similar to Meghan's calligraphy. This is a side hustle that Meghan used to do at her wedding in the days before she joined the royal family.
The company's website currently has nothing on it other than the brand's logo and a space to sign up for a “waiting list.”
As Page Six exclusively reported last month, the Montecito-based royal is also expected to launch a lifestyle/foodie show on Netflix in hopes of becoming the next Martha Stewart .
