Monique's eldest son, Sharon Jackson, spoke about their estranged relationship after the comedian's appearance became a hot topic. of Club Shay Shay Podcast.

Jackson, who is also a stand-up comedian, explained that he wrote down his reactions to avoid getting emotional or involved when sharing his story.

He further added: “By responding like this, I can seamlessly proclaim peace. For those of you who are wondering, why say anything now? Call this a form of therapy. Please.'' Monique said she later admitted she didn't do her best job.
