Samsung Galaxy Ring may be unveiled at the event
Samsung is gearing up to launch its new wearable device, the Galaxy Ring, which promises to offer some amazing features. The ring is expected to debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event in late July or early August, and will compete with the Oura Ring, a popular health tracker that measures blood flow and heart rate.
But with Galaxy Ring, you can not only monitor your health, but also control other devices with simple gestures and make payments wirelessly. This is thanks to Samsung's existing software ecosystem such as Samsung Pay and SmartThings. The ring also has an electrocardiogram feature to detect heart problems, similar to the one used in the Oura Ring.
The Galaxy Ring is still in the prototype stage, but will reportedly go into mass production in the second quarter of this year. Rumor has it that this ring will be on display at the MWC event.
