The Propane Education and Research Council (PERC) has hired David Walters as its new director of auto gas business development.
In this role, Walters will develop and execute strategic market plans to accelerate the adoption of propane auto gas and support research and development of innovative products.
“David has been at the forefront of advancing sustainable energy solutions in the transportation sector, and he brings these talents to this role,” said Tucker Perkins, President and CEO of PERC. I am confident that we will seize future opportunities.”
Walters brings more than 25 years of expertise in business development and sales leadership in the energy industry, including a focus on hydrogen and RNG. Most recently, he served as National Sales Manager for Atlas Copco Compressors, where he led business development and oversaw product integration across multiple North American regions.

Walters holds a bachelor's degree in communications and business from Cabrini University (Villanova). He replaces Steve Whaley, who has been appointed Bluebird's Alternative Fuels Manager.
