Cookeville, Tennessee – With two doubles wins and four singles wins, the Presbyterian Blue Hose (5-4) defeated the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles (0-5) 5-2 on the road Sunday afternoon.

The Blue Horse won four singles matches and won the overall championship. Tennessee Tech won the No. 2 singles match, tying the score at 1. At No. 3 singles, Vasilakis recorded his first career win with a 6-4, 6-4 victory. Cardoso earned his team-leading sixth win at No. 6 singles with a 6-3, 6-4 decision. Tennessee Tech won at No. 5 singles, cutting Presbyterian's lead in half with his 3-2. Matos, the No. 1 singles player, recorded his fifth win of the season with a 6-4, 6-4 victory. Mamarat placed 4th in singles and won a hard-fought three sets 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 to earn her team-leading sixth win.
