Real estate sales include car wash, 2 homes over $1M | News, Sports, Jobs

1504 Washington St., Jamestown was sold in October for $825,000. That is the location of Touchless Car Wash.

The Post-Journal/OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the sales from Oct. 12-20.

During that time period, EZ Clean Car Wash, Inc. of Jamestown sold 1504 Washington St. to Keith and Jennifer Woolam for $825,000. This is the location of Touchless Car Wash.

There were other business sales as well.

Mark Raynor, Scott Raynor, and Randy Raynor sold a parcel Prospect Road, Westfield to Warren Property Holdings, LLC of Jamestown for $300,000. This appears to be the location of Westfield Mini-Storage.

The former Graham’s Market in Sherman closed in October of 2022. The building was foreclosed in October 2023 by Five Star Bank. It is currently for sale at $99,000.

It wasn’t the only self storage sale. M&R U-Store-It Self Storage, LLC of Cherry Creek sold 2663 Second Ave., Ellicott to C&D Storage Holdings, LLC of Rochester for $50,000.

A referee for Grahams Market LLC of Jamestown sold two parcels in Sherman to Five Star Bank for $123,300. According to village officials, this former grocery store had opened in August of 2020 and closed in October, 2022. The building was foreclosed in October, 2023 and is currently listed for sale at $99,000.

Brabel, LLC of Westfield sold 18-24 W. Main St., Brocton to Domus Fare, LLC of Fredonia for $75,000. The building was previously used as a laundromat and ice cream parlor. Domus Fare is a restaurant in Fredonia. The owners declined to comment on what their plans are for the Brocton building.

There were also two residential sales that topped $1 million. 3166 Chautauqua Ave., North Harmony sold for $1,175,000. 4461 Canterbury Drive, Lot 17, Chautauqua Shores, Chautauqua town sold for $1,085,000.

Including the sales previously mentioned, from Oct. 12-20 there were 16 sales that were $250,000. The remaining top sales are as follows:

– 169 Front St., Lakewood sold for $780,000.

– 32 Foster Ave., Chautauqua Institution, town of Chautauqua sold for $600,000.

– Unit No. 2, South Terrace Condominium, 17 Miller Ave., Chautauqua Institution sold for $454,900.

– Lot No. 16, The Pines at NorthShore, 29 Elm Lane, Chautauqua Institution sold for $385,000.

– 3045 W. Oak Hill Road, Ellicott sold for $350,000.

– 10387 South Boulevard, Van Buren Bay, town of Pomfret sold for $350,000.

– 7595 Sherman-Stedman Road, Sherman sold for $290,000.

– 2637 Shadyside Road, Mina sold for $285,000.

– 6 East Terrace Ave., Busti sold for $265,000.

– 5566 Wilson Blvd., Portland sold $265,000.

– 3050 Riverside Road, Busti sold for $260,000.

– 10363 Main Street, Mina sold for $256,750.

Overall, from Oct. 12-20 there were 144 transactions. The full list of sales higher than $1 are as follows:

Mohammad Ayash sold 206 Fulton St., Jamestown to Radha Govind Khatoria for $15,000.

Daniel Borkholder sold 8448 Titus Road, Westfield to John and Katie Byler for $110,000.

Thomas Korcyl Jr. sold 7595 Sherman-Stedman Road, Sherman to Daniel Borkholder for $290,000.

Chautauqua Area Habitat for Humanity sold 44 and 46 Babcock Ave., Silver Creek to George and Stephanie Westbrook for $130,630.

The Administrator of the Estate of Roy Russell sold 201 E. Second St., Dunkirk to Jazmin Gallegos Vazquez for $80,000.

Chautauqua County Land Bank Corp. sold 216 E. First St., Jamestown to El Greco Woodworking, Inc., of Jamestown for $100.

Jane Gross sold Unit No. 3A, Lincoln Park Condominium, Chautauqua Institution, town of Chautauqua, to Donald and Sharon Blom for $240,000.

Darryl and Kathryn Mallanda sold 10 Brook St., Lakewood to Owen and Chelsea Murphy for $190,000.
