But if you're hoping to meet one of the “sharks” at an open casting call, you're out of luck, as none of the big-name entrepreneurs are scheduled to attend. But if you make it to the final round, your dream may come true. It just comes true.
When is Shark Tank open casting call?
“Shark Tank” casting will take place in the following cities:
- Friday, April 12th at the Event Center @River Portsmouth in Portsmouth, Virginia
- Thursday, April 25th at Monlogo Resort & Spa in Cabazon, California.
- Friday, May 10, at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York, NY.
Interviews will begin at 10am on all three days. Participants will have the opportunity to pitch their business for one minute in front of members of her team at the Shark She Tank Casting.
“Get ready to surprise and amaze us,” the casting team wrote.
Hopeful entrepreneurs do not need to fill out an application before attending a casting call; they just need to show up during each venue's designated wristband distribution time (1-2 hours before the audition time) to receive a pitch. You will be given the opportunity to. Please note that due to the large number of participants expected, the interview may last “well into the evening.” Check out Shark Tank casting expert Mindy Zermak's Instagram for more details on the logistics.
The “Shark Tank” team said more cities and audition times would be announced soon, but did not say how many more open castings would be held or where.
