Tierras de Origen, Mexico's pioneering company in marketing real estate and attracting investors to real estate projects, has announced the launch of two ambitious development projects in the Yucatan Peninsula: Hacienda La Peregrina in Mérida and Hotel Franciscana in Valladolid, the city's first five-star hotel.
The inspiration for the first development was the love story between American journalist Alma Reed and Governor Felipe Carrillo Puerto in 1922. The second project is a design hotel offering a luxury experience.
The importance of bringing investment projects to the Yucatán was highlighted during a presentation in Mexico City. The event was hosted by representatives of Tierras de Origen, including Commercial Director Jessica Rengifo, Commercial Coordinators Eric Gutierrez and Lilia Jeyer, Financial Analyst Misael Vera and Marketing Manager Alejandro Carillo.
These projects offer opportunities for investors, with initial investments starting at P290,000.
According to financial information provided by Tierras de Origen, those interested in joining these efforts could potentially earn projected returns of 15% to 18% per year.
So far, 65% of the investors are international, particularly Latinos, while the remaining 35% are domestic.
Both developments have been conceived by renowned architecture firm DNA Barcelona Architects under the direction of architect Alianoglu Djalali, known for his focus on environmentally sustainable architecture.
The La Peregrina project will be built on land formerly owned by Governor Carillo Puerto. The hacienda will feature a 109-room hotel, including suites and standard rooms, as well as top-notch services such as a restaurant, spa and gym. In addition, a condominium tower, restaurants and a museum complex will be built.
Hotel Franciscana offers 102 rooms, including suites and standards, as well as a spa, gourmet cuisine and a privileged location on Calle de Los Frailes in Valladolid.
