Thursday, 3/7: Surviving the Tween/Teen (Virtual):
Parenting tweens and teens is not for the faint of heart. In this workshop, we will learn how to cope with these years when our children challenge us and engage us in power struggles as we learn and grow. We'll talk about how to better communicate and understand teens and tweens by learning the tools they need. For this stage of parenting.
Thursday, March 21st or Thursday, April 4th: Surviving Infancy and Preschool (Virtual)
Learn why children behave the way they do and how to minimize trouble, tantrums, and tears and respond effectively rather than react emotionally. This workshop is perfect for all parents of children aged 18 months to 5 years.
Thursday 4/18: Introduction to Positive Discipline (in-person):
Positive Discipline is a program designed to teach children and young people to be responsible, respectful, and resourceful members of their communities. Positive discipline teaches important social and life skills in a way that deeply respects and encourages both children and adults (including parents, teachers, childcare workers, youth workers, etc.).
Thursday 5/2: Brothers Without Rivalry (Virtual):
In this workshop, parents will learn practical practical skills to replace fighting with cooperation and negotiation. This is a great workshop for parents who have just had their second baby. Learn how to avoid conflicts before they start.
Thursday 6/6: Parenting as a Team (Virtual):
He's too strict! She's too generous! Discover the root causes of marital disagreements over parenting and learn how to resolve them peacefully.
